WEDDING OF ANNA & TED – NORRVIKENS TRÄDGÅRD, BÅSTAD, SWEDEN
To photograph a wedding at Norrviken in Båstad had been a dream venue for me since I started working as a wedding photographer. So when Anna and Ted contacted me to document their day in Båstad, I almost screamed how happy I felt!
When it was time for the big day, I drove to get to Norrviken and the rain never stopped pouring down the entire time… My heart almost stopped.
Anna and Ted had planned for outdoor drinks and taking photos in the lush gardens. If you haven’t been here, this truly is one of the most beautiful gardens in Sweden. But oh well, as a photographer you have to expect the unexpected. Handle every type of weather and make it work – and this is what we did.
But even if the rain changed some plans, the day and night was full of laughter and so much love. Just as it should be, spent together now as husband and wife – together will all of the people you love the most. A lot of touching speeches and many fun and individual stories shared. After dinner the night moved forward to the dance-floor, with a mood partying until you drop!
Even the several showers of heavy rain, it was a celebration of a lifetime. I’m so thankful to have been a part of this day, to document how amazing Anna and Ted are!
